Work

Five projects in depth: the problem, how they are built and where to try them. Everything else is further down.

Minecraft Java

PoxiLauncher

A Minecraft Java launcher for playing with friends: everyone on the same mods, the group world in the cloud and one button to join a friend’s game without opening ports.

  • TypeScript
  • Electron
  • React 19
  • Node.js
  • WebSocket
  • Modrinth API
  • Own website at poxilauncher.com
  • Own server for accounts, chat and tunnel
  • Automatic updates
WebsiteCode

Architecture

  1. Desktop appElectron, React 19 and TypeScript
  2. Minecraft engineXMCL installs and launches the game and loaders
  3. Own serverNode: accounts, friends, chat, packs and worlds
  4. Tunnelfriends join without port forwarding

Decisions

  • Modrinth as the catalogOpen API with mods, shaders and modpacks filtered by version and loader. Dependencies are added automatically.
  • Your session stays on your PCThe Microsoft sign-in is encrypted locally. The server only sees the social side.
  • Own tunnel instead of UPnPWorks behind any router and only lets your friends in.

Windows terminal

PoxiTerminal

A native, GPU-rendered terminal for Windows in Spanish: tabs, panes, SSH, SFTP, Git and your Claude Code or Codex sessions in a single window.

  • Rust
  • GPUI
  • GLSL
  • Inno Setup
  • PowerShell
  • Installer and portable
  • Automatic updates
  • Runs side by side with pebrel

Architecture

  1. InterfaceGPU-accelerated GPUI
  2. CoreRust: PTY, tabs and panes
  3. ConnectionsSSH, tunnels and SFTP
  4. AI agentsClaude Code, Codex and opencode

Decisions

  • Rust and GPU, not ElectronNo embedded browser: it stays smooth even with ten panes open.
  • Its own settings and credentialsUses its own %APPDATA% folder, so it coexists with pebrel.
  • Spanish by defaultStarts in Spanish even if Windows is in another language. English is one setting away.

Windows 10 and 11

PoxiOptimizer

All-in-one utility for Windows 10/11: optimize, clean, repair and configure the system from a modern interface, with 30+ safe and reversible tweaks.

  • Tauri 2
  • Rust
  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • PowerShell
  • Tailwind CSS 4
  • 5 to 10 MB executable
  • 30+ reversible tweaks
  • Installer on GitHub Releases
Code

Architecture

  1. InterfaceReact 19, TypeScript and Tailwind 4
  2. Desktop appTauri 2 and Rust on WebView2
  3. System actionsverified, auditable PowerShell
  4. Safety netrestore point, registry backup and undo

Decisions

  • Tauri instead of ElectronIt reuses the WebView2 that ships with Windows: 5 to 10 MB instead of hundreds.
  • Guarantees firstIf a tweak cannot be safely reverted, it does not make it into the app.
  • Protected componentsStart menu, Store and Windows security cannot be broken from the app.

Commercial software

CDTaller

Management software for auto repair shops: cars, customers, jobs, parts, quotes and VERI*FACTU-compliant invoicing. Runs on the shop’s PC without depending on the internet.

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Electron
  • Zustand
  • SHA-256
  • AES-256
  • On sale from €39/month
  • Search under 1 s with 10,000 cars
  • Works offline
WebsitePrivate code

Architecture

  1. InterfaceReact, TypeScript and Zustand
  2. Desktop appElectron, works offline
  3. InvoicingSHA-256 hash chain and tax QR code
  4. Backupslocal plus AES-256 encrypted copy

Decisions

  • Offline firstIf the internet goes down, the shop keeps invoicing.
  • Chained hashesEach invoice seals the previous one, as VERI*FACTU requires. Issued invoices are never edited: mistakes go through corrective invoices.
  • Two seats includedMulti-session for front desk and office out of the box.

Productivity

Dayly

Professional agenda and productivity hub: calendar, tasks, notes, projects, habits and goals with a real API, secure sessions and per-user data isolation.

  • React 18
  • TypeScript
  • Express
  • Prisma
  • MariaDB
  • Argon2id
  • Public demo
  • TOTP two-factor auth
  • Auth and role tests
Code

Architecture

  1. PWAReact 18 and Vite
  2. APIExpress with HttpOnly sessions
  3. DataPrisma and MariaDB
  4. NotificationsWeb Push with VAPID keys

Decisions

  • Argon2id and TOTPPasswords and two-factor handled like a serious product.
  • Roles on the serverThe client never decides which data a user can see.
  • Separate demoAn in-memory mock to show it without a database.

Minecraft Java

PoxiLauncher

Screenshot of PoxiLauncherScreenshot of PoxiLauncherScreenshot of PoxiLauncher
The problem
Playing modded Minecraft with friends is a mess: everyone runs different versions, the world lives on one person’s PC and joining from outside means fighting the router.
The solution
A launcher that installs Minecraft, Java, loaders and Modrinth mods on its own, keeps the group pack in sync and connects you to your friend’s game through its own tunnel, no router setup.
The result
Hit “Play” and you are in with exactly the same setup as your friends.

What it includes

  • Group world in the cloud: anyone can host it, it downloads on open and uploads on close
  • “Join my friend” installs their exact pack if you are missing it and drops you into their game
  • Vanilla, Fabric, Forge or NeoForge servers in one click, with a live console
  • Imports and exports Modrinth .mrpack modpacks
  • Your Microsoft session is stored encrypted on your PC and never touches the server
  • Automatic updates with electron-updater

Windows terminal

PoxiTerminal

The problem
pebrel was an excellent terminal, but it was English-only and leaked notifications in Chinese. And terminals treat AI agents as just another process.
The solution
A Rust fork with the whole interface translated, from menus to installer, plus an AI control center that shows what each agent is doing, which files it touched and how much context it has left.
The result
A terminal that understands AI agents and speaks your language.

What it includes

  • Native interface built with GPUI, the graphics engine behind the Zed editor
  • AI control center: status, branch, context, tokens and estimated cost per agent
  • “View changes” shows only what the AI touched in each reply, file by file
  • Built-in SSH with tunnels, SFTP with progress and a Git panel
  • Encrypted settings backup to a folder, WebDAV, S3 or SSH
  • Installer, portable build and automatic updates from GitHub Releases

Windows 10 and 11

PoxiOptimizer

The problem
Existing optimization tools are either aggressive black-box scripts with no way back or interfaces from another era. The result: people either fear breaking Windows or actually break it.
The solution
An optimizer built with Tauri 2 and React 19 that runs audited PowerShell operations, protects critical components, creates a restore point before touching anything and keeps every tweak reversible.
The result
Optimizing Windows stops being scary: every change can be undone.

What it includes

  • Lightweight ~5-10 MB executable reusing the WebView2 runtime already bundled with Windows
  • One-click post-format flow: restore point → remove bloatware → Gaming profile → apps → DNS → Update
  • 16+ modules: WinSxS cleanup with DISM, SFC repair, hosts manager, live winget search, batch uninstaller
  • Critical components protected: Start menu, Store and security cannot be broken
  • Action history with undo, registry backup and settings export/import
  • v3.5.2 published with an installer on Releases

Commercial software

CDTaller

Screenshot of CDTallerScreenshot of CDTaller
The problem
Repair shops work in fragments: quotes in Word, invoices in Excel, car histories scattered across folders. Since RD 1007/2023, that workflow is no longer valid: from 2027, invoicing systems must guarantee traceability, gapless numbering and tamper-proof records.
The solution
A Windows program that centralizes the whole shop with sub-second search by license plate or phone number, and invoicing designed to the standard first: SHA-256 hash chain, sequential numbering per series, unalterable documents with linked corrective invoices and the tax QR code.
The result
On sale with public pricing: €39/month, €390/year or €890 one-time.

What it includes

  • VERI*FACTU invoicing per RD 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024
  • Any car or customer found in under 1 second, tested with 10,000 vehicles
  • Works offline; local backup on launch and every two hours, optional cloud backup encrypted with AES-256
  • Multi-session: two computers included by default
  • Public commercial model: €39/month, €390/year or €890 one-time, no lock-in
  • GDPR data protection built in: notice on documents, activity log, data subject rights

Productivity

Dayly

The problem
Free productivity apps store your data wherever they want and serious ones demand a subscription. I needed a complete one with my own backend that I could deploy wherever I decided.
The solution
A PWA with React 18 and Vite on top of an Express + Prisma + MariaDB API: a 00:00-24:00 grid calendar with series-based recurrence, Web Push notifications, an admin panel and production-grade security.
The result
Production-grade security: Argon2id, HttpOnly cookies, 2FA and server-side roles.

What it includes

  • Full authentication: Argon2id, HttpOnly SameSite cookies, 2FA TOTP with single-use recovery codes
  • Server-side RBAC with per-user isolation and an /admin panel with welcome-email onboarding
  • Daily/weekly/monthly recurrence applied to the whole series; JSON, CSV and ICS import/export
  • Optional Web Push with VAPID keys plus in-app toasts and notification bell
  • Vitest + Supertest suite covering auth, RBAC, CRUD, trash, habits and recurrence
  • Public GitHub Pages demo (in-memory mock) kept separate from the production build
